WUSD celebrated our 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient Rear Admiral Michael Schwerin during homecoming. Rear Admiral Schwerin was a 1984 graduate of Watertown High School. He was treated to a special luncheon on September 29th where he was presented with a Distinguished Alumni plaque. Rear Admiral Schwerin was also introduced during the Homecoming Pep Rally; was a special guest in the homecoming parade; and was introduced after first quarter of the homecoming football game.

WUSD 2023 retirees were honored during the May 22nd Board meeting. This group of retirees were committed to the WUSD any where from 11 years to 38 years. This gave a total of an amazing 645 years of service. That's incredible!
